The Concept

The Dual Signal is triggered when Politica and Oracle — two completely isolated intelligence sources — independently flag the same asset within a defined time window. This convergence is our highest-conviction indicator.

How It Works

Politica detects a pattern in congressional trading data. Oracle detects coordinated whale activity on prediction markets. Neither system knows about the other. When both point to the same ticker, the signal is automatically escalated to the committee.

Senior specialists cross-reference both data sets, debate the thesis, and vote. Minimum 3 out of 5 votes required. Compliance holds veto power. If approved, the signal receives our highest conviction rating — our highest confidence rating.

The Process

1. Politica detects an anomalous congressional trading pattern and assigns an Axelrod Score.

2. Oracle independently detects coordinated whale activity on prediction markets for the same sector or asset.

3. Neither system is aware of the other finding. The convergence is detected by an automated cross-reference layer.

4. The signal is escalated to the coordination room with both data sets presented side by side.

5. Five senior committee members review the evidence independently before convening.

6. A structured debate follows. Each member presents their assessment. Compliance reviews for regulatory concerns.

7. A formal vote is held. Minimum 3 out of 5 required. Compliance veto overrides any majority.

8. If approved, the signal receives our highest conviction rating designation and is delivered to subscribers with full supporting analysis.

Why Convergence Matters

A single data source can be noisy. Congressional trades may reflect personal financial planning rather than informed positioning. Whale activity on prediction markets may be speculative rather than knowledge-driven.

But when two completely independent sources — analyzing fundamentally different data sets through fundamentally different methodologies — arrive at the same conclusion simultaneously, the probability of coincidence drops dramatically.
