1. Who operates this site

Until a legal entity is formed, hidecapital.com (“the site”) is operated by the founder of the Hide Capital project, who decides how the personal data described here is used and is responsible for it. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean that operator. Contact: contact@hidecapital.com.

2. What we collect

• Early-access form: your name, your email address, the plan you choose and, if you give it, your firm.
• With each form submission: your IP address, your browser type (user-agent) and the time of the request.

The form also contains a field hidden from people; if it is filled in, we treat the request as automated. We do not ask for, and do not want, information about your finances, risk tolerance, holdings or objectives. Our hosting provider also processes technical request data, such as IP addresses, to deliver the site to every visitor.

3. Why we use it

• To answer your early-access request and to write to you when access opens.
• To detect and filter spam and automated abuse of the form.

4. Legal basis

We use your name, email, chosen plan and firm with your consent, which you give by submitting the form; you can withdraw it at any time. We use IP address, browser type and timestamp on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the form free of spam and abuse.

5. Processors

• Vercel — hosting of the site and the form endpoint. United States.
• Neon — database where requests are stored. United States.
• Anthropic — the assistant tool we use to read and sort requests. United States.
• Our email provider — when we write to you or you write to us.

If you are outside the United States, your data is transferred to and processed in the United States.

6. How long we keep it

• Early-access requests: 12 months from submission, then deleted automatically, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• IP address and browser type: 30 days from submission, then erased automatically.
• Encrypted database backups: up to 90 days, so data deleted from the database is gone from backups within 90 days.

7. Cookies and analytics

The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, tracking or advertising tools.

8. No selling of personal data

We do not sell personal data and do not share it for advertising.

9. Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to object to its use for spam prevention, and you can withdraw consent at any time; withdrawal does not affect use before it. Write to contact@hidecapital.com. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the current version.
